Training & Certificates
Where appropriate, a programme may include simulations, case work, reflective papers, assessment, CPD records or an agreed certificate pathway. The format is defined around the participants’ industry, background and intended outcomes; training, certification and membership remain separate services and decisions.
Professional development follows the USG Professional Development and Panel Governance Handbook (USG-PRO-HBK-1001). The normal initial professional-status pathway requires at least 10 hours of relevant training, 10 relevant cases, verifiable records and assessment. The normal Certified pathway requires at least 20 hours of relevant training, 200 hours of relevant case practice and Certification Review.
Reserve Panel and Panel admission are separate review decisions; certification does not guarantee an appointment or case allocation. USG credentials record status within its own framework and do not confer a government licence or replace applicable professional requirements.
