About these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to this website and its public materials. “USG”, “we” and “our” mean Universal Sustainable Growth Organisation Ltd. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
Website operator and controller: Universal Sustainable Growth Organisation Ltd., a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17056207. Registered office: Suite 10 Capital House, 61 Amhurst Road, London, United Kingdom, E8 1LL. UK data protection registration: ZC248862 (view the ICO registration certificate). Privacy enquiries may be emailed to privacy@universalsustainablegrowth.org or sent to the registered office.
Framework, participation and services
USG publishes an open reference framework, knowledge and participation pathways. Endorsement, membership, contribution or listing does not, by itself, amount to regulatory approval, accreditation or professional certification. A separately awarded USG professional certification is governed by its own requirements and current status; it is not a government licence or an assurance of a particular outcome.
Training, professional work, case support, licences, partner appointments and other services require separate written scope, checks, fees and terms. An application, acknowledgement, reference number or account does not by itself confirm acceptance, appointment, certification or the commencement of a paid service. The relevant written agreement or service confirmation identifies the contracting parties and their responsibilities.
Nothing on a public page creates an adviser-client, mediator-party, fiduciary, agency, employment or partnership relationship. Network participation does not give a participant authority to bind USG.
Information, not professional advice
Website content is general information. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, immigration, medical or other professional advice and should not be treated as a substitute for advice addressing your circumstances.
You remain responsible for decisions, filings, deadlines and independent checks. No content, tool, participation route or service description guarantees an agreement, approval, investment, outcome or prevention of loss.
Permitted use and publications
You may view, print and download public material for personal, internal organisational or educational reference, subject to any notice attached to a publication. You must not remove rights notices, misrepresent source or status, or imply endorsement by USG.
Access to a publication does not transfer its copyright. A publication-specific licence or agreed institutional permission governs wider copying, redistribution, translation, adaptation or commercial use. Do not circulate restricted copies or share personal access links or credentials to bypass access conditions. These terms do not remove any use permitted by applicable law.
Publication access and permissions depend on the particular edition and route. A document number identifies a document; it does not confer access or certify the accuracy of every statement. Use the relevant version record when citing a publication. For prohibited conduct and automated access, see the Acceptable Use Policy.
Intellectual property
Names, marks, frameworks, publications, interface designs, software and other materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to USG or its licensors. No licence is granted except the limited permission expressly stated in these terms or with the relevant material.
Ideas submitted through an open participation route remain subject to the submission notice shown at that point. Do not submit confidential information unless a protected route and written terms have been agreed.
Third-party links and services
Links and integrations are provided for convenience. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control or endorse them merely by linking, and we are not responsible for their availability or content.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep public information accurate and the website available, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content or that material will remain current. We may change, suspend or withdraw content or features.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, USG is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website information or from unavailable public features.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms where services, law or risk changes. The review date identifies the current website version. These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. A binding service agreement may state different or additional arrangements for that service.
Legal questions may be sent to legal@universalsustainablegrowth.org. Complaints may be sent to complaints@universalsustainablegrowth.org. See the Complaints and Incident Response Policy for the reporting process.
Accounts and permissions
Use your own email address and accurate account information. Email verification establishes control of that email address, not professional qualification or authority to act for an organisation. Membership upgrades and approved permissions should remain linked to the existing account rather than creating conflicting identities.
Protected material is available only within the permissions assigned to the account. Keep verification and recovery messages private, update contact details through the authorised process and report suspected compromise to support@universalsustainablegrowth.org. Access may be restricted proportionately while a genuine security or compliance concern is assessed, with review under the applicable policy.
Verification records
A USG verification result concerns the identified USG record and the status shown when the query is made. Professional verification uses the existing Professional ID; organisation verification uses the existing organisation or Partner reference; document verification uses the existing document or publication reference. These are different records, not interchangeable approvals.
A listing does not establish government authorisation, creditworthiness, the authenticity of an unrelated document, or authority to act beyond an appointment. A missing or unmatched result is not, by itself, proof of misconduct. Questions or corrections should be referred to the responsible USG department.
Operating and review responsibilities
USG Growth, the Dispute Resolution Portal, USG Academy, USG Commons and USG Partnerships handle their respective activities. Independent providers remain responsible for their agreed services; their relationship with USG does not remove USG’s own legal or contractual obligations.
See Operating Entity and Responsibilities, Conflicts of Interest and Complaints and Review for departmental responsibility, disclosure, withdrawal and review arrangements. These website terms do not amend an existing service agreement or the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
