Purpose and principle
Mediation can support commercial, contractual, professional, workplace, multi-party and cross-border matters. It provides structure for understanding interests, testing options and recording an agreement where one is reached.
The mediator does not judge the parties, impose a decision or act as either party’s adviser.
Participants decide whether and how to settle, with space to test practical options.
Scope, participation, safeguards, timing and fees are confirmed before mediation begins.
Requesting mediation
Provide an email address and the information currently available.
We assess conflicts, authority, participants, urgency, accessibility and process needs.
Where suitable, the parties receive a proposed mediator, process, timetable and fee basis.
Mediation begins only after the required parties and mediator have confirmed the appointment, terms and process in writing.
It does not appoint a mediator, begin a paid service, contact another party or suspend any deadline.
